Privacy policy

What follows is the whole of it – what Norvera Parlor holds about you, why it is held, who else sees it, and how to get it changed or removed.

Who it is shared with

Information is shared only with service providers needed to operate the store – delivery partners who need the address to deliver, the payment processor, and the hosting provider – or where sharing is required by law. It is not sold, rented or passed on for marketing.

How long it is kept

Retention is tied to purpose: records stay while they are reasonably needed for returns, queries and accounts, and for whatever period the law requires. There is no fixed calendar figure past that point.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted where nothing in law requires it to be kept, and to withdraw consent where the processing is based on consent. These rights come from the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP 2023) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000). Requests go to [email protected] with an Order ID.

What is collected

Three categories. Order details – your name, delivery address, phone number and email address, without which an order cannot be packed, couriered or discussed. Order history – what was bought and when, which is what makes a return or a query checkable. And technical data, meaning the standard information a browser sends to load a page.

What is not collected

There are no card details on file, because cards are not accepted here at all. UPI authorisation happens in your bank app and the PIN never reaches us.

Cookies

Cookies here are the essential kind only – the ones that let a cart persist and a checkout complete. No advertising or profiling cookies are used.

Grievance contact

Privacy complaints go to the grievance write to: [email protected]. Being a small operation, Norvera Parlor has not appointed a separate named officer – the person who runs the shop deals with these directly and acknowledges within one business day.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to order records is limited to the people who need it to fulfil and support orders. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page.

If something goes wrong

If order data is exposed in a way that could affect you, we will write to the people affected at the email address on the order and describe what happened and what we have done about it.

Accuracy

If an address or a phone number on an order is wrong, tell us before dispatch and we will correct it. After dispatch the courier holds the address and a change may not be possible.
